Jacqui

Wholesale Business Manager

What is your role at ARRAN Sense of Scotland?

I am Wholesale Business Manager for Scotland and my return to ARRAN Sense of Scotland was in 2016 at the launch of rebrand. I first worked with Arran , in the same role in the early 90s for 6 years. Having this historical connection with the company, it’s been a good talking point when chatting with customers. Being a rep on the road has changed greatly since the 90s. With the birth of Sat Nav, I no longer need to refer to my huge AA road map to navigate through the highlands and lowlands of Scotland!!

What is your favourite ARRAN product?

I have many favourites, but then perhaps I am biased. However, I am a lover of our Apothecary soaps, in particular the Honey & Oatmeal and Seaweed & Oatmeal ones. The fragrances transport me back to the early 90s when I first worked with the company.

Do you remember the first time you discovered ARRAN Sense of Scotland?

I have been married to James for almost 31 years and we have two kids who live in London. We visit often and like to take in a variety of musical theatre shows during our visits. I love the buzz of the city.

I enjoy foreign travel, meeting new people and generally experiencing different cultures. Cliched as it may sound, I always pack my ARRAN Sense of Scotland travel sized products when I’m away on my travels.

Natalie

Ecommerce Trading Exec

What is your role at ARRAN Sense of Scotland?

I’m the Ecommerce Trading Executive and I’ve been with the company for a year.

What is your favourite ARRAN product?

Anything Glenashdale! It smells incredible and instantly puts you in a good mood. It is so fresh and uplifting. I have the Hydrating Hand Cream in my bag for on the go use, I can’t get enough of the fragrance.

Do you remember the first time you discovered ARRAN Sense of Scotland?

A few years ago, I had visited the Isle of Arran for a wedding and ARRAN Sense of Scotland were the toiletries used in the hotel. The next day, we took a detour before getting the ferry and visited Home Farm to stock up!

I love listening to music, you’ll never find me without my prized possession – my headphones. I try to go as many gigs as I can, there’s few things better than live music. If I’m not out and about, you will find me hanging with my dog.

Kim

Digital Content Manager

What is your role at ARRAN Sense of Scotland?

I’ve been Digital Content Manager for 2 years and I handle the creative for our digital marketing campaign activity.

What is your favourite ARRAN product?

Hmmm…I’m going to be a pest and give you three answers here because I can’t decide. I love After the Rain for fragrance, Seaweed and Sage is my go-to for bath and body and Jasmine and Philadelphus is my top pick for home fragrance, those candles are bliss.

Do you remember the first time you discovered ARRAN Sense of Scotland?

Yes, I was looking for a perfume that didn’t make me sneeze… I like woody scents, but they usually don’t agree with my outrageously sensitive nose. I didn’t wear fragrance at all for years, until I found After the Rain. The first time I sprayed it I loved the scent then waited with bated breath for the sneeze that never came, it’s been the only sent I’ve worn ever since.

I’m quite active, I have two very boisterous dogs that keep me on my toes, and I train Brazilian Jiujitsu most nights of the week after work. My husband and I love to travel and try to go somewhere new every year and the rest of the time is spent catching up with family and friends, usually eating lots of lovely food.

Kira

Digital Content Exec

What's your role at ARRAN Sense of Scotland?

I've worked at ARRAN for just over a year now as Digital Content Executive. I spend most my working days making content for our social channels and working on our blog and PR pieces!

What's your favourite ARRAN product?

Apothecary Seaweed & Sage is one of my favourite scents. I love the refreshing scent and that it's unisex. If you're looking for Home Fragrance recommendations I will always suggest Just Grapefruit - the smell is incredible. I think I've got at least 2 ARRAN products in every room of my house!

Do you remember the first time you discovered ARRAN Sense of Scotland?

I remember my mum loved After The Rain when I was younger and then later I rediscovered the brand as ARRAN Sense of Scotland when my partner bought the Seaweed & Sage Hand Wash when we revamped our bathroom. I've been hooked since!

Tell us a bit about what you like to do in your spare time...

I walk everywhere - I feel like there's nothing better than getting outside in the fresh air and walking. You'll often find me with my nose in a book, scrolling TikTok or baking. I'm also getting married next year so I'm spending a lot of time in Microsoft Excel at the moment!
