Using the website

Are all your products available to purchase online?
Yes, all the products available from high street retailers can be purchased on this site. In fact, most of our stockists sell only a selection of our products, so our Web Shop is the perfect place to view our complete range.

How do Special & "Free When You Spend" Offers Work?
With all Special Offers, we try to fulfill what is currently on, but occasionally we have low stock, so will give you an alternative product. This also goes for "Free When You Spend" offers, so you'll always get a reward of some kind!

Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we reward our online customers by offering regular discounts that you won't find anywhere else. Whenever you visit the site, check the Visitor Centre for details of the latest seasonal offers. Becoming a registered customer will also give you access to further exclusive online offers. Click on Register at the top of the screen to register, if you have not already done so.

How do your discounts work?
As we're constantly offering discounts on products and collections, our shopping basket will work out the best discount for you. So, if a product has a 10% discount against it and you enter a 15% discount code, your 15% discount will be taken of the full price. We do not combine discounts, so in this case you will not get 25% off that product, but always the higher of the two.

I have a favourite Arran Aromatics product but I don't know where it is.
The buttons down the left of the screen take you directly to each of our product ranges. If you are not sure of the name of your favourite range, simply click back to home and roll your cursor over the left hand buttons for a preview picture of each collection. Just click on any of those buttons to browse the complete range of products in that line. If you still cannot find your favourite product, use the search facility to a product by product code or name.

I'm looking for hand cream but I'm not bothered which range it's from.
Use the search facility at the top-left of the screen. Enter in the type of product you are looking for, in this case hand cream, and we will show you all our hand creams, regardless of which range they are from.

My friend has a Wish List. How does this work and can I have one?
Yes! Whenever you see a product you like, click the Wish List button next to that item. You can view, purchase or remove items from your list whenever you want…and make sure you let friends and family know about your Wish List so they can buy items directly from it!

Please note, to start a Wish List or to view or purchase from someone else’s list, you need to be a registered customer. For details about registering, click on Register at the top of the screen.

Our products

What are the benefits of Arran Aromatic products?
Each of our ranges is designed to produce different benefits, including intense moisturising for dry or mature skin and gentle but powerful cleansing for oily and combination skin. Of course, we always carefully select and add essential oils to create just the right blend of aromas to either relax or stimulate the senses. Click on any of the product pictures to pop up more information about that particular item.

What kind of ingredients do you use?
All our bath, body and candle products are made from the finest natural ingredients gathered from around the world. We never use animal derivatives in any of our products and we never test our ingredients or finished products on animals. We pride ourselves on purchasing all our ingredients from ethical and sustainable sources.

I'm looking for a gift idea. What can you recommend?
All our products make great gifts. Use the search facility and type gift into the keyword search to view a selection of gift packs.

Do you test your products on animals?
No. We don't use any animal derivatives, in any form, in any of our products. Neither do we carry out any animal testing.

 

 
       
 


Making a purchase

How do I select items to purchase?
Just click 'Order' whenever you see a product you would like to purchase. This will add that item to your cart and show you a summary of everything you've selected during this shopping session. There's an order button next to every item on every page as you browse the product range. At any point you can review what you have put in your basket by clicking on view cart at the top of the screen.

How do I get to the checkout?
Once you have finished browsing, simply click view cart to make sure you are happy with your selection and then select the 'Go to checkout' button.

How can I get through the checkout more quickly?
You can save time at the checkout by becoming a registered customer. We will retain some of your details to save you having to enter them every time you make a purchase and as a registered customer, you can view your account history and track your goods from despatch to delivery. Simply click on register at the top of the screen to register now.

How do I get my discounts?
We will take into account any discounted prices when we process your order and automatically deduct them from the amount you pay. The discount you have received will be clearly indicated as you go through the checkout.

How do I know you have received my order?
As soon as we receive your order, we will send you a confirmation email. Make sure you check the email carefully and notify us straight away if we have any of your details incorrect. If you have not received a confirmation email within 24 hours of placing your order, please contact info@arranaromatics.com or click here.

How does this work?
"Add at least 3 of the products to your basket and we will adjust the prices so that the cheapest is free!"

For example ... if you add two products at £2.50 and one at £2.00 that are in the 3 for 2 special offer section, the one at £2.00 will be free, it's as simple as that!

Are my details secure?
Yes, we take your security very seriously. Before making any purchase or providing us with any details, you will be asked to read all the 'small print'. You can read this now by clicking on terms and conditions at the bottom of the screen. Delivery of goods

Do you deliver to my area?
Yes, we use Parcel Force to deliver anywhere in the world. Have a look at our delivery information for a rough guide to delivery times.

How much does it cost to ship my purchases to me?
Delivery charges are calculated on the combined weight of your purchases, your preferred delivery option (standard or fast) and on your location. We don't charge a flat rate so you don't pay more than you should. To find out exactly how much your purchases will cost to deliver, you'll need to proceed to the checkout with your basket and we'll total up your payment for you.

What happens if my goods are damaged?
We take great care to package our products to avoid any damage during shipping but to put your mind at rest, we operate a no-quibble returns policy. Check our terms and conditions for more details.

I'm in a hurry. How long will it take for my purchases to arrive?
Delivery time depends on the combined weight of your purchases and your location. Check our delivery information for a rough guide to delivery times.

Please note: because of our location on the Isle of Arran, off the West Coast of Scotland, there may be occasions when weather prevents the mail boat from taking your goods to the mainland for despatch. In the unlikely event of this happening, we will be unable to guarantee normal delivery times.

How do I know when my order has been despatched?
We will send you an email confirming that we have received your order and another when we have despatched your order. Becoming a registered customer allows you to track your order online via a unique Parcel Force number. Simply go to your account and log in to view your order status.

Free (UK) Delivery

Occasionally, Arran Aromatics offers "Free Delivery" on purchases OVER a certain amount. If a customer then uses a Discount Code which reduces the NET amount, then the Free Delivery will not be available, e.g. if Mr Jones buys three items which total £40.50 in his shopping basket, he will recieve the (£40) Free Delivery. However, if Mr Jones uses a 20% Discount Code whilest checking out, this will reduce his NET by 20%, thus taking him under the (£40) Free Delivery level.

For our UK customers we are currently offering FREE Delivery* on orders over £40.

Our returns policy

What if I'm not happy with the products I purchased?
We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchases but we want you to feel confident when you buy online, which is why we operate a no-quibble returns policy. If for any reason you are unhappy with your Arran Aromatics products, please send them straight back. As soon as we receive your returned goods, we will refund your purchase in full, or despatch replacement goods, whichever you prefer.

Yes, we have lived on Arran since 1971. We're passionate about the west coast of Scotland and find it's the perfect place to create natural products to soothe and revive.
