Treat yourself and help others to feel good
Macmillan Cancer Support aim is to improve the quality of life
for people living with cancer and their families, and we are there
from the moment someone suspects they have cancer.
We are delighted that Arran Aromatics is supporting Macmillan,
enabling us to help even more people who are living with cancer.
You can also make a donation to Macmillan while buying products

help people living with cancer at the same time?
How Macmillan Cancer Support Makes a Difference
Macmillan provides emotional, psychological and practical support
for people living with cancer and their families, and all of our
services are funded entirely by the generosity of our supporters.
We help people with cancer in a number of different ways including:
- Macmillan Nurses - there are around 2500 Macmillan
nurses throughout the UK, specialising in cancer care in hospitals
and in the community
- Macmillan Doctors & Other Health Professionals - there
are around 350 Macmillan Doctors throughout the UK and also
other health professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational
therapists. They use their specialist skills and knowledge to
improve the treatment and care of people with cancer.
- Patient Grants - A cancer diagnosis can quite often
mean a change in financial circumstances. Our patient grants
ease financial difficulties that some cancer patients experience
because of their illness. The grants help with additional expenses
such as higher heating bills, travel to and from hospital, prescription
charges, or new clothing if for example cancer treatment has
resulted in a significant change in weight. These grants make
a huge difference to over 17,000 families every year.
- Macmillan Cancer Care & Treatment Centres - There
are over 100 Macmillan Cancer Care & Treatment Centres in
the UK. These centres provide bright, warm, supportive and welcoming
environments, which patients tell us make a real difference
to how they feel when undergoing treatment.
- Information and Support Services - We provide a range
of cancer information through our leaflets, cancer information
centres and our freephone telephone helpline - the Macmillan
CancerLine - which is open from Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm
(0808 808 2020).
